Dr. Awais Ahmad is an accomplished researcher and Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Lahore, Pakistan. He holds a Ph.D. in Fine Chemistry from the University of Córdoba, Spain, and is globally recognized among the top 2% of scientists in materials science and chemistry, as highlighted in the prestigious Stanford University ranking.

His research expertise lies in the design and development of advanced nanomaterials, including metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), MXenes, and photocatalytic composites, with a strong focus on applications in wastewater treatment, environmental remediation, energy conversion, and chemical sensing.

Dr. Ahmad has an impressive publication record, with over 150 peer-reviewed articles, accumulating more than 5,700 citations and a cumulative impact factor exceeding 1,700. Beyond research, he plays an active role in the global scientific community, serving as an editor of nine scientific books and holding editorial board positions in reputable journals, including the International Journal of Energy Research (Impact Factor 4.5) and Chemical Data Collections (Impact Factor 2.7).

He is also a sought-after speaker, having delivered numerous keynote lectures and invited talks at academic institutions and scientific forums across Pakistan. Dr. Ahmad continues to lead innovative research in sustainable materials and environmental technologies, contributing significantly to advancing chemical science worldwide.
